TODAY THERE WAS AN EARTHQUAKE AT STUBBINGTON! We were the brave group chosen to make sure that all the supplies were protected and kept safe but we had to make sure that we worked as a team and communicated with each other. Our teachers said we worked really well together. In the afternoon we looked closer at the animals that live in and around Stubbington and had to identify them by what we could find on the ground and in the Conservation Area. We learnt about what a ‘live’ animal hole looks like and we really enjoyed discovering the different nature that we are surrounded by. Later on, we then designed ‘Mammal Hotels’ by camouflaging capture-release traps and learning about mammals and how they surviving. We wonder what animals we can release tomorrow morning? Tonight, we really enjoyed going out to the Badger Hide where we stayed very quiet and saw 5 cute badgers and 2 furry foxes. It was amazing! We have really enjoyed all the activities we have done so far.
